Sugar Leather

Our nomadic caravan stretches silently. We move forward in rhythm with the dromedaries, with their swaying, almost hypnotic motion. The saddle of our pack animals, warmed by an arrogant sun, releases a mild and tender leather scent. We approach Al Khaluf. The landscape is almost lunar. The sand has changed color and is now dazzlingly white. We appear tiny in this sugar dune. 'Sugar Leather' like a piece of sugar covered in white sand and caramelized by the flair of the sun.
